Get to Know Me
Spending time on her family farm is where Danita Barnett enjoys life the most. From the moment you meet Danita, you'll realize she is a strong, smart, country girl with a tremendous amount of life experience and old-fashioned “common horse sense.”Danita is a lifelong resident of Fredericksburg and a graduate of Fredericksburg High School. She seems to know everybody, and everyone seems to know her! In 2017, she transitioned from a 13-year career in the banking industry where she loved interacting with customers, to a fulfilling role as a real estate professional. In this capacity, Danita helps clients sell or buy their most valuable asset—their home—in a meaningful, even sometimes life-changing way.
Danita and her husband have two children, Tripp and Tinley. Besides being a dedicated wife and mother, she assists her husband in running his business. She loves volunteering her time with Fredericksburg Independent School District’s activities and her community.
Danita is active in the Hill Country CattleWomen, a member of the CHCBR Community Involvement, and often serves as Team Mom for whatever sport her little ones are playing at the moment. She is energetic and compassionate, with a knack for understanding her clients’ needs and concerns.
Outside of real estate, you will find Danita enjoying her passions—gardening, raising chickens, baking, and living on her family farm. She loves watching a Saturday ball game featuring her son, working with animals on the farm, or tending to her children’s 4-H stock show animals. In her spare time, she enjoys catching up on yard work and exploring the always familiar yet always surprising town of Fredericksburg. Additionally, Danita has a flair for remodeling and staging homes, which ensures her clients' properties are presented in the best possible light.
