408 N Llano St.,Growing up in the Houston area, my family's life took a transformative turn when my dad stumbled upon Fredericksburg during his travels through the Hill Country in route to hunting leases in Kemble and Menard Counties. The moment he set foot in this charming town, he knew it was where he wanted to fulfill his lifelong dream of ranching and raising his family in a close-knit community. In 1968, we made the move to Fredericksburg, and my brothers and I discovered a new sense of freedom and adventure.
My father managed a ranch in the Eckert/Willow City area for my uncle, and this upbringing immersed us in the world of horses and cattle, teaching us the responsibilities and challenges of ranching. Those early years shaped my character and instilled in me a deep appreciation for the land and the unique lifestyle it offers.
After graduating from Fredericksburg High School, I embarked on a career in healthcare as a Registered Nurse, dedicating myself to helping others for a remarkable 40 years. Although this path took me away from Fredericksburg at times, I always felt a pull back to come home. In 1991, I returned to the Hill Country, to be near my family and provide my children with the same experiences I had growing up.
Fate intervened when I met my husband, Dale Sultemeier, through mutual friends. A Johnson City native, Dale's family has a rich history in the area, dating back to the 1800s. Following his studies at A&M, he established Sultemeier Surveying and Engineering, LLC in Johnson City before eventually moving his office to Fredericksburg. Together, we have witnessed the remarkable transformation of Fredericksburg from a quiet, sleepy town into a vibrant and thriving community. We have four children, eight grandchildren and one grandchild. Luckily, they all live close so that we can spend our spare time together.
Upon leaving the healthcare field, I discovered real estate as an outlet to continue helping people and forge new relationships. In 2018, I embarked on a new career as a realtor, leveraging the attention to detail honed during my nursing career to guide clients through the intricate process of buying and selling properties.
To me, knowledge, honesty, and integrity form the bedrock of every successful real estate transaction.
